Intro:

Despite what the cover image might have you believe I'm still happy with the game, that said there is definitely one major issue in this game.

The Difficulty:

While i think all the puzzles in the game are solvable i do think it isn't always obvious that that is the case. The first thing i did when designing the game was designing the puzzles as they were my priority on getting right and I honestly I'm still quite happy with the puzzles and their solutions but that said i would lying if i told you they weren't way too difficult, especially for a game jam project where most people aren't going to be willing to spend 30 mins on a puzzle.
And its not that i wasn't aware of the difficulty, i had some people i know playtest the game. In this play test they weren't able to figure out the puzzles without some extra clues from me. Seeing as i had about a day left of the jam so I chose to put in band aid solution instead of making the puzzles simpler to understand, this decision has been to my own detriment. After the submissions closed i had a close friend try out the game for the first time and not only did they need the hints from the hints text file but they also needed extra hints from me.
The game is too difficult but now I've learnt my lesson 

- "Band aid solutions are not good enough solutions". 

And while i do not currently have any plans to work on Ad Nausio FM in future, but if i was to my main goal would be to make solutions for the puzzles a bit more obvious than what they are currently.
So what now?
